Designed by renowned Cincinnati Architect, Carl Straus for Super Bowl Star Jim O'Brien, this 2000 sq. ft., multi-level home was completed in 1976 was featured on Mt. Adams House tours for years thereafter.
The house, totally white inside and out, hence the name Casablanca, Spanish for White House, was remodeled in the early 90's by current owner Philip Pitzer. The house runs down the hillside on four levels each with its own economical central heat and air conditioning units.
The street level includes a tandem garage and small basement. The first level can serve as a bedroom, den or office and has a bath with shower. The second level great room has 20 ft ceiling, lots of glass, wood burning fireplace, parquet floor and a small kitchen with custom woodwork.
The third level loft master bedroom has approximately 15 ft ceiling, wood burning fireplace, parquet floor, custom closets with leaded glass doors and sunken Jacuzzi tub with shower. A door off the master leads to a stairway to the bi-level wooden deck with hot tub area.
